TROY, Mich. November 2, 2016 – Altair
will host its 9th European Altair Technology Conference
from June 26 - 28, 2017 at the Congressforum Frankenthal
in the Rhine/Neckar area, Germany. Spanning the entire spectrum of Altair offerings, from the application of simulation and optimization technologies, to partner solutions as well as high-performance and cloud computing, the three-day event will be packed with valuable information from technical experts and thought leaders, offering innovative content and product development techniques.
This year for the first time, extending the scope beyond Altair customers, the conference will include a day, dedicated especially to those interested in simulation, design, and HPC solutions and the development of innovative products via a Simulation-driven Innovation™
“I’m very much looking forward to our 9th E-ATC next year in June in Germany,” said Dr. Detlef Schneider, Senior Vice President EMEA, Altair. “Last year more than 650 engineers and simulation experts joined us in Paris, showing tremendous interest, not only in our tools but also in our methods and product development philosophy. The 2017 agenda will reflect how Simulation-driven Innovation is leveraging simulation, optimization, high performance computing and cloud technologies to design disruptive future products. These topics will meet the needs of all kinds of product creators and will cover all types of industries - from architecture to industrial design, automotive and aerospace to general machinery and manufacturing."
Divided in solution focused parallel sessions, day one will target an audience with a general design and engineering background in order to familiarize them with Altair’s solutions. The program will offer high level insights into product development methods, simulation solutions and will provide general information on the use of simulation in various industries. In addition, day one will also host a session for academic users.
Day two will be dedicated to keynote presentations from all industries, delivering inspiring insights into Simulation-driven Innovation techniques from high level Altair customers, the Altair executive team and industry thought leaders. This day is a must for executives, engineers and product creators looking for insights from leading industries. The third and last day of the conference will provide in-depth technical presentations given by experienced users of the Altair solutions, in parallel sessions.
Presenting at the European ATC will provide a unique opportunity to reach out to a large engineering audience and discuss innovative work with one's peers. Customers interested in speaking at the conference are invited to submit their abstracts to the organizational team via
